Installation

Always ensure firearm is unloaded before installation.
Work should only be done by a qualified gunsmith.
It is recommended to bore snake or swab bore clean before first use.
No barrel break in procedure is required.
The UNB-223 WYLDE is designed to be used with an adjustable gas block, It will be over gassed with most ammunition if you do not use adjustable gas.
For best accuracy its recommended to use sleeve retainer or blue thread locker on the outside of the barrel extension and inside of the upper receiver where the barrel extension makes contact. This will "bed" the barrel. Wipe all excess clean after installing barrel and before installing barrel nut.

If installed correctly this barrel is capable of sub MOA accuracy with match ammo and an experienced shooter using bags from a bench or prone.
It is recommended to clean the bore and chamber every 500-1000 rounds but not required. The chamber should be cleaned with a chamber brush made for the AR-15. The bore should be cleaned with a brass or bronze brush and a high quality solvent then swabbed clean with cotton patches and left dry. That process can be repeated as necessary. Only oil the bore for long term storage.
The included bolt should be installed into the carrier of your choosing and used in conjunction with your UNB-223 WYLDE for best accuracy and reliability.
